The Spiked Dog Armor Vest is designed for small and medium dogs that need a more visible, protective-style vest during outdoor walks, rural routes, farm areas, parks, hiking trails or camping stops. Its bright orange-yellow fabric and reflective details help handlers keep the dog easier to see in open or low-light environments.

The vest uses a 600D Oxford outer fabric with a 3 mm padded inner layer and 250 g breathable sandwich mesh. This structure helps balance abrasion resistance, padded coverage and airflow during supervised outdoor use. Adjustable hook-and-loop panels and buckle straps around the neck and belly help the vest fit different body shapes within the XS, S and M size range.

Removable metal spikes are positioned around the neck and back, where extra physical coverage may be useful in higher-risk outdoor environments. These spikes can help create a visual and physical deterrent, but they should not be described as a guarantee against attacks. Their main role is to add a barrier and give handlers more time to react if an unexpected animal encounter happens.

A stainless-steel D-ring on the back allows the vest to connect with a leash for walking control. The D-ring should be used for normal leash handling, not heavy pulling, unsafe lifting or dragging. The removable spike design also makes it easier to adjust the vest for lower-risk environments or cleaning.

For best fit, measure the dog’s neck girth, chest girth and back length before choosing a size. The vest should sit close enough to stay stable, but it should not restrict breathing, shoulder movement or normal walking posture.
